To enroll at AGB Studios, you need to submit an online application form and attend an interview with our admissions team.

No, talent agents ONLY make a commission when you work. If an agency tries to charge you for anything, they are not a real agency. 

AGB studios is an acting studio. Talent agents often come to us looking for talent. We have had thousands of our students sign with the top talent agencies over the years. 

 Actors should never be required to pay to audition or participate in showcases. In most cases, the primary investments for actors are quality training, professional headshots, and a self-tape setup, as self-tapes and Zoom auditions have become the industry standard. Beyond that, actors who want to further invest in their careers may choose to develop a demo reel and continue building professional materials to better prepare for auditions and opportunities.    While laws and regulations may vary from state to state, the ethical and reputable companies choose to follow California industry standards, which are widely considered some of the strongest protections for actors and consumers in the entertainment industry. 

 You won't be taken seriously by any legitimate talent agent if you're not actively training.   Additionally, actors need to get professional headshots and a resume done. We can help you with any of these requirements if needed. We are a community of artists and want you to feel supported in every way possible.  

 Like any respected acting studio, we work with actors at every level of experience. We offer classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced actors, as well as master classes for those looking to further refine their craft. We also offer mixed-experience classes, creating an environment where actors can learn from one another while continuing to grow individually. 

Choosing between an acting studio, conservatory, or university depends on your goals, age, learning style, schedule, and finances.  Acting studios are often the most flexible and industry-focused option, making them ideal for beginners, younger actors, working actors, or those seeking professional training without the time and financial commitment of a full college program. Conservatories typically offer intensive, technique-driven training in a highly disciplined environment, while universities combine acting education with traditional academics and a college degree. While each path is different, they all share the same goal: helping actors develop confidence, professionalism, technique, and long-term growth in the craft. Only YOU will know what's right for you.

Yes, if you're under 18, you'll need to get an entertainment work permit, and the requirements are having good grades and good attendance.
